Greece is located in South-Eastern Europe, at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Athens is the capital and the largest city in Greece. Most of the Greece is covered by mountains and Mount Olympus is the highest peak. Western Civilization began with Greece and it is the birthplace of democracy, Western philosophy, Western literature, historiography, political science, major scientific and mathematical principles, and Western drama as well as the Olympic Games.
